United Minds is a men's mental health organisation based in Hampshire.
We were formed in 2021 when a few brave men shared their struggles on a Facebook livestream event in Portsmouth.
Calvin Soper and Pete Lockyer addressed their struggles in front of everyone in the local community and the support in return was overwhelming for both.
The idea of United Minds was formed and the first event would be a fund raising football match played with like minded men who have either struggled previously with their mental health or are still struggling now.
Over 18 men shared stories publicly to raise awareness for men's mental health and to show lads that they’re not alone in their struggles if they’re reading the stories. The event was a great success which became a platform to grow United Minds in the community.
