In April 2023, United Minds organised an event to raise funds in memory of local footballer, Mason Peddle, who took his own life in April. United Minds played a football match against his closest friends and family to raise money for his family to cover the funeral costs and raise awareness in the community that there is somewhere to turn to if help is needed. This game raised in excess of £3,000.
